Following on from the adaptation of Playboy of the Western World with Roddy Doyle, I see that Bisi Adigun of Arambe Productions is penning a new play – a comedy version of the Scissor Sisters (the famous prisoners, not the band which have strangely disappeared).
It is said to feature the disembodied head of Farah Swaleh Noor which talks. A few limbs are also said to be visible in the production too. It seems a strange subject to make into a comedy. I’m not sure if I can warm to this play, although it could be Beckettian in its style which could be interesting
